Docks

At HOP Construction we design and build docks and seawalls. Residential, Agricultural Farmstead, Private Estate, Condominium, and PUD communities. We build in in freshwater areas, on lakes, rivers, and in near-coastal lowlands. We design and build docks and seawalls in salt water areas, in bays, at the mouth of larger rivers, in salt marsh areas, and in tidal lagoons and ocean surf waters. Virtually anywhere a dock can be legally permitted, we can design and build the dock of your dreams!

From a canoe or PWC dock on a lake to a multi yacht dock of thousands of square feet, along with the access ramps need to reach the yachts. No project is too small or large for our experienced professional team.

We build and maintain commercial docks and seawalls: for municipal and commercial marinas, yacht clubs, sailing clubs, community boat ramps and transient yacht docking anywhere. We are large enough to build most any structure, bond any size project and meet the strictest of construction codes.

The deck planking on our docks can be the traditional salt treated 2 x 8’s (nominal 1 ½” thick), dimensional lumber, or the newer long lasting composites with fiberglass, or with PVC, and now in full PVC. This decking is fade-resistant, comes in multiple colors which are available in the full spectrum of colors. Matching railings, posts and post tops are available in numerous colors.

We only use stainless steel decking fasteners, either sunken in the decking, or installed nearly invisible, in a side fastened installation.

Seawalls

Our seawalls, of most any height, and a long as desired, always help control land erosion to the water, while making the waterfront more accessible, available to the whole family, and safe to use. We build strong sheet vinyl seawalls, with Lifetime™ Vinyl Sheeting, supported using marine use certified pilings, marine use certified lumber, and stainless fasteners and hardware to hold it securely in place.

With Manta Ray™ Earth Anchors, stainless hardware and pre-drilled long reach weep rods, we can construct a seawall that stays put and lasts for years and years.
